Duties include, but are not limited to:Perform acoustic analysis, integration and development for naval platformsPerform field testing, data acquisition and data QAPerform data processing and analysisPerform acoustics signature predictions and mitigation analysisEDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:Minimum Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering2-3 years of data processing and analysis experience desiredJob experience with the Navy or other DoD laboratories is a plus.SKILLS & ABILITIES REQUIREMENTS:Ability to conduct data acquisition and QAAbility to perform data processing and analysisAbility to perform signal processingEfficient with programming in MATLAB and PythonKnowledge of machine learningStrong background in physics and mathAbility to effectively communicate orally and in writingAbility to travel.OTHER REQUIREMENTS:Candidate must be a US citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance or favorable adjudication of a national security background investigation. Current successful background investigation completion is a plus.
