Responsibilities

Corporate and M&A Strategies:

Identify, research, analyze and value potential acquisitions, joint ventures, investments and other strategic growth opportunitiesWork closely with the Executive Director, Corporate Development to lead the development of M&A strategiesProvide insights and recommendations to the team members and other key stakeholders based on research and analysis of the industry, as well as detailed due diligence of potential opportunitiesSupport M&A strategy objectives - including the development and tracking of acquisition opportunities, and all phases of transaction executionProactively establish and maintain an active M&A pipeline; ensuring rigor of underlying investment cases and alignment with MSA's strategyAnalyze macroeconomic trends, industry dynamics, and competitive landscapeCreate, review, and present financial models including valuation and pro forma M&A analysisPrepare presentations which outline the strategic and financial rationale for transactions for senior management and the Board of DirectorsProject Management, Due Diligence and Integration:

Perform and lead the due the diligence process including financial analysis and risk assessmentAssist in the development and communication of the strategic business case to obtain senior management and Board supportSupport the transaction negotiation and closing processManage the integration planning phaseManage cross-functional teams with a hands-on, team-oriented approachEnsure effective management of post-closing activitiesRelationships Building and Networking:

Creating and maintaining deep, trust-based relationships in the industry and personal connections with potential sellersProactively networkBuild and sustain relationships across MSAStay up to date on ongoing recent events, transactions, and market trendsQualifications

Education and Experience Required:

Degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Accounting, Science or other related fieldMinimum of 7+ years of relevant professional experience in M&A in the areas of acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, investment banking, strategy consultingExperience in leading global projects and cross-functional teams as well prioritizing multiple projects and initiativesDemonstrated experience in analyzing, evaluating and negotiating business transactions including acquisition evaluation, financial modeling and financial analysisExperience analyzing historical financial performance and future projections (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)Strong analytical skills, creativity in problem solving, research capabilities, and attention to detailStrong communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as the ability to develop concise and effective communications tailored to specific audiencesResults oriented, metrics driven leader focused on continuous improvementStrong track record of implementing strategies with both short and long-term impactAdvanced proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPointComplex problem-solving ability to identify issues, evaluate options, and determine viable solutionsExperience in leading change and innovationAbility to interact with senior executives and handle high pressureEducation and Experience Preferred:

MBAExperience in corporate development, investment banking, private equity or management consulting
