Litigation Member Attorney

A law firm in Atlanta, GA, is seeking an experienced Litigation Member Attorney to join their team. The ideal candidate will have over 7 years of litigation experience and be licensed to practice in Georgia. This role requires a Juris Doctorate or higher and a strong track record in managing complex litigation cases. The successful applicant will be a crucial player in the firm, providing expert legal representation and contributing to the firm's overall success.Duties:Represent clients in complex litigation cases from inception through resolution.Conduct legal research and prepare legal documents, including briefs, motions, and pleadings.Develop and execute case strategies to achieve favorable outcomes for clients.Advise clients on legal rights, obligations, and potential outcomes of their cases.Negotiate settlements and represent clients in arbitration, mediation, and court proceedings.Manage caseloads efficiently, ensuring all deadlines and court appearances are met.Collaborate with other attorneys and legal professionals to provide comprehensive legal services.Stay updated on legal developments, trends, and relevant laws and regulations changes.Provide mentorship and guidance to junior attorneys and legal staff.Requirements:Minimum of 7+ years of litigation experience in a law firm or similar legal environment.Licensed to practice law in Georgia.Juris Doctorate (JD) or higher degree in Law.Demonstrated expertise in managing complex litigation cases.Education:Juris Doctorate (JD) from an accredited law school.Additional certifications or advanced legal training are a plus.Skills:Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Proficiency in legal research and case management tools.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Superior negotiation and client relationship management skills.High level of attention to detail and organizational skills.Ability to handle high-pressure situations and meet tight deadlines.
