Req #2264Thursday, August 1, 2024As an Eligibility Supervisor, you will provide essential administrative support to our program eligibility department. You'll work closely with the Program Eligibility & Contracts Supervisor to manage departmental operations, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations while maintaining a limited caseload. Your role will be crucial in supporting CAPSLO's mission to deliver high-quality early Head Start, Head Start, and State Child Development programs.We would love to hear from someone who:Has an Associate's Degree.Has 2 years of experience as a Program Eligibility Specialist or Program Eligibility Lead.ORHas an Associate’s Degree.Has 3 years of experience in administrative functions, case management, eligibility determinations, or related experience.Plus2 years of experience with federally funded programs.1 year of supervisory experience.Has a Bachelor’s Degree in Child Development, Social Science, Psychology, Human Development, Liberal Studies, or related field. (Preferred)Four years of experience performing administrative functions, case management, eligibility determinations, or related experience. (Preferred)Bilingual/Biliterate in English and Spanish (Required, a test will be administered prior to employment)As a Program Eligibility Supervisor You Will:Develop and implement training programs for new and existing staff.Oversee the processing of federal waitlist and state applications.Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation and ensure compliance.Assist with policy and procedure development related to program eligibility.Conduct eligibility audits, review case files, and prepare reports.Supervise program eligibility specialists and provide ongoing coaching and development.Participate in recruitment, outreach, waitlist management, and enrollment processes.Maintain accurate records and data for audits and monitoring.Manage a reduced caseload and conduct eligibility interviews and case management.As a CAPSLO Employee you will receive:Medical, Dental, Vision and Life Insurance coverage, 100% covered by CAPSLO!14 paid holidays, so you can always count on being off.Vacation time to relax, reconnect and recharge.Sick Time to rest and feel better or get to our doctor appointment.A generous match to your retirement contribution after your first six months.The opportunity to work alongside a team of individuals with the same goal… helping people, changing lives!And much more…Additional Eligibility Qualifications:Must be at least 18 years of age by date of hire.Must submit proof of current vaccination status for measles, pertussis, and influenza (or a current, signed influenza declination form) in compliance with SB 792.Must comply with the CAPSLO COVID-19 Vaccination Policy, either being fully vaccinated or sign a COVID-19 vaccination declination form.Must complete a health screening physical completed within 30 days prior to employment and a current TB skin test/Chest X-Ray.Employment is contingent upon meeting all job requirements and background requirements: criminal history check (Inclusive of DOJ, FBI and Child Abuse), acknowledgement of child abuse reporting responsibility, criminal record statement (Form LIC508), etc. A criminal history clearance is required prior to employment.Upon hire agency staff will check the Megan’s Law (or the current sexual predator website) to ensure each staff being hired is clear for employment.
