Job Description:Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Respond to and propound written discoveryPrepare exhibit binders for mediations, arbitrations and trialTrain and supervise legal assistantsMeet regularly with attorneys to review filesCalendar all dates with use of calendaring and case management softwareDraft meet and confer lettersSchedule depositions, hearings, defense medical examsStrict compliance with schedule of assigned appointmentsOrder, review and summarize medical recordsRetain experts and prepare expert designationsQualifications:Paralegal CertificationAt least 2 years of civil litigation experienceVery well organizedGood follow-upStrong communication skillsComputer Skills:To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Internet software, spreadsheet software and word processing software.
