At Washington, you will contribute to the transformation of our company, the transport industry and society at large.About Us!We are Volvo Truck and Bus Centre North & Scotland – your Volvo Truck or Bus specialists.At Volvo Truck and Bus Centre North & Scotland we give our customers exactly the vehicles they need, from new trucks to our certified used trucks. For repairs, service and maintenance, the specialist team at Volvo Truck and Bus North & Scotland keep our customers moving.The Role!You will be equipped to carry out repairs to a high standard according to Volvo procedures, safely and responsibly.Assist in the fault diagnosis process.Service Customer Vehicles and complete service sheets.Road test vehicles when required (if you hold an HGV license).Assist with roadside breakdowns.Process all relevant paperwork relating to jobs accurately.Ensure all vehicle defects are reported.Keep all workshop facilities, equipment, and tools clean, tidy and well maintained.Help us in supporting the development of trainees and apprentices.Who are you?
Do you hold a Level 3 NVQ or equivalent in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and have previous experience working on HGV’s or have you completed an apprenticeship in the HGV industry?What’s in it for you?
