Map Operations and Data Analyst

Hivemapper is building the world's freshest map using street-level imagery contributed by a community of everyday drivers, large fleets, and everyone in between. We have over 60,000 contributors around the world, and have now mapped over 13M unique kilometers, or more than 21% of the world's roads.Map data customers use Hivemapper’s developer-friendly APIs to access fresher road imagery and map feature datasets than any centralized mapping project can offer. Some examples of map data customers include enterprise technology, mapping, robotaxis, rideshares, and real estate!Position OverviewAs the Map Operations and Data Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy and quality of Hivemapper's map data, directly impacting our customers' experience. You will be responsible for performing in-depth data analytics to optimize map operations, launching and managing Map AI Trainer games, and validating data quality. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical background and a deep understanding of geospatial data.ResponsibilitiesPerform deep data analytics to track and enhance map operations.Create and manage detailed reports on map performance and data quality.Support the launch of new AI Trainer games to enhance and ensure the quality of map data.Contribute to developing and implementing rigorous validation processes to ensure high-quality output from Map AI Trainers.Manage the supply vs. demand of AI Trainer queues to ensure balanced workloads.Track and assess key performance indicators to gauge the success of data quality initiatives.QualificationsBackground in Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Data Analytics, Operations or a related field.Proven experience in data analytics, geospatial data management, or a related field.Highly analytical with the ability to run complex queries in Mode and other geospatial tools.Proficiency in SQL (experience in Mode analytics a plus).Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.What we offerMedical, dental, and vision benefits plus FSAFamily leave401(k) programUnlimited Flex PTOCommuter benefitsPaid lunchDon’t meet every single requirement?
