Duties and responsibilities include:
Create conceptual, logical, and physical data models that define how data is stored, processed, and accessed.
Designing solutions to integrate data from various sources within the organization.
Planning future databases and evaluating current data architecture.
Keeping databases secure and ensuring that data is accurate and accessible.
Contributing to the development of the organization's data strategy.
Required Qualifications:
8+ years of experience.
USDA NASS experience.
May develop appropriately supporting automation scripts.
May provide work leadership for lower level employees.
Experience with: .NET, Design patterns, architecture, SQL, UML, TFS, Github, APIs, Cloud Architecture (Azure), Azure tools, PaaS, MSSQL, MySQL, Microservices Architecture, Agile Methodology, Jira, Security, DevOPS/DevSecOPS.
Education Requirement:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, equivalent work experience may be considered.
Clearance Requirement:
Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust.
