Senior Trial Attorney

A law firm in Miami, FL, is seeking a highly experienced Senior Trial Attorney to join their team. This position involves leading a team of attorneys, handling complex litigation cases, and maintaining strong client relationships. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in litigation, particularly in auto/trucking, construction defect, or general liability defense. Duties and Responsibilities Lead and mentor a team of attorneys, providing guidance and oversight. Take and defend depositions, ensuring comprehensive and accurate testimonies. Attend and represent clients at court hearings, trials, and other legal proceedings. Prepare and respond to discovery requests, including drafting and reviewing legal documents. Develop and execute trial strategies and lead teams in presenting cases in court. Manage a substantial caseload efficiently while maintaining high standards of legal practice. Cultivate and build strong business relationships with clients, ensuring their needs and expectations are met. Requirements Minimum of 9+ years of litigation experience, preferably in auto/trucking, construction defect, or general liability defense litigation. Admission to the Florida Bar is required. Proven track record of handling complex cases and leading legal teams. Demonstrated ability to manage a high-volume caseload and deliver favorable client outcomes. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain client relationships. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Certifications Admission to the Florida Bar. Skills Exceptional trial and litigation skills, with a strategic approach to case management. Strong leadership and team management abilities. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in legal research and drafting. Ability to handle high-pressure situations and make sound decisions.
