Royal Caribbean Group is pleased to offer a competitive compensation and benefits package, and excellent career development opportunities, each offering unique ways to explore the world.The Royal Caribbean Group has an exciting career opportunity for a full-time Financial Analyst reporting to the Manager of Finance Marine.This position sits on-site in Miami, FL.Position Summary:This position is responsible for forecasting and expense closing processes and providing financial analysis support to the operational teams. Additional areas of focus include assisting in the development of analytical tools to help improve the forecasting process (e.g., excel models and data analytic dashboards), financial tracking of all Marine capital projects, invoice processing and supporting various functions in Marine Operations.The characteristics that will lead to success in this position are a strong work ethic, attention to detail, outstanding analytical skills, a solution-oriented approach to problems, and business acumen. Effective communication to Management and the respective operational groups is also critical to the success of this position.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Collaborate with the Marine operational teams to produce accurate forecasts, record and analyze actual performance and identify plan of action to address variances.Own the month-end closing process and ensure entries are calculated and recorded accurately. Work with Accounting to ensure financials are accurate and complete.Lead the development and implementation of benchmark reports for operating groups.Coordinate all aspects of the capital request process for Marine projects, including liaising with business partners to clarify and prioritize requests and optimize scopes. Monitor approved capital projects to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.Partner with various teams to facilitate invoice processing and payment approvals.Support brand initiatives and ad-projects as assigned.Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills:B.A in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.One to three years related financial or business analysis. Cruise or Hospitality experience preferred.Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills are required. Dashboard analytic experience a plus.Ability to manage multiple priorities and multitask in a fast-paced environment.Excellent project management skills, including the ability to lead, facilitate and organize.Must be a self-starter and highly motivated, with the ability to work both independently and in a team environment.Must be detail-oriented to ensure accuracy in analysis.We know there's a lot to consider.
