RBT Trainer

Responsible for providing intensive 1:1 therapy and support to the clinical team with regards to training and data collection. Must maintain knowledge of principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and assist in training a small team of therapists to provide quality services to all clients at LAC. Clients include individuals diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorders and other language delays.

Responsibilities

:

Substitutes for 1:1 therapists as neededAll responsibilities for therapists apply to trainerCompletes & maintains Registered Behavior Technician credentialingAssists with staff training specific to client individual treatment plans, behavior plans, & RBT task listAssists with completing weekly treatment integrity checks of each therapist within teamMonitors & tracks therapist feedback accuratelyManages therapist during support staff shifts & trains therapists to lead group skillsLead groups skills, as neededCompletes therapist competency checksAssists therapists in completing paperwork & data, as neededAssists in conducting assessments as supervised by Program Manager, or Clinical Director and preps new client suppliesAssists with all tasks associated with central reachDemonstrates creativity & "think outside the box" attitude to provide support and achieve positive outcomes for all clientsConsistently builds rapport with clients & families to achieve best possible outcomesAttends & maintains all outside training certifications (CPI, CPR, First Aid, RBT, etc.)Attends & implements feedback from weekly supervision with Program ManagerAssists Program Manager in prepping materials (insurance forms, parent notes, inventories, program materials, etc.)Physical Requirements:

Qualifications:

Exceeds all expectations in completing therapist duties as summarized below:

Experience as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) for minimum of 1 yearProviding direct 1:1 therapy sessionsImplementing all skill acquisition programs & maintenance programsAccurate data collectionImplementing all behavior protocols & FBA/BIPs as providedFlexible, creative, & possessing excellent time management skillsLeadership experience & skills demonstratedKnowledge of basic functions of behaviorKnowledge of data collection procedures

Salary Description

Up to $26.00/hour, based on education/experience
