Human Resources Director

will provide leadership, management, and oversight of the organizations human resource development. The Human Resources Director will have primary day-to-day responsibility for planning, staffing, motivating, organizing, and controlling, all human resource development-related activities of the company. This will include direct responsibility for strategic planning, productivity standards and costing, employee relations, compensation, health and employee services benefit analysis and insurances, deal analysis and negotiations, stakeholder relationships, compliance and private, public, and institutional standards and policies.In addition to Helio Healths comprehensive benefits package, this position is eligible for a

$95,000.00 - $115,000.00Working RelationshipsReports to the Chief Human Resources Officer, requiring the Chief Human Resources Officers full trust and confidence.Works with the Human Resources Committee of the Board of Directors as directed by the President & C.E.O.Supervises the Human Resource Generalists, Specialists, and all other Human Resources staff as necessary.Works collaboratively with the President & C.E.O., Executive Vice President & C.O.O., Executive Leadership Team and Division/Service Directors to meet the human resource needs of Helio Health.Responsibilities:Provides leadership in the development of short- and long-term strategic people development objectives and execution of those objectives.Plans and recommends Human Resources policies and objectives for the entire company.Recommends employee relations practices necessary to establish a positive employer-employee relationship and promote a high level of employee morale.Identifies legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting Human Resources function (e.g., OSHA, EEO, ERISA, Wage & Hour). Monitors exposure of the company. Directs the preparation of information requested or required for compliance. Approves all information submitted. Acts as primary contact with labor counsel and outside government agenciesProtects interests of employees and the company in accordance with company Human Resources policies and governmental laws and regulations. Approves recommendations for terminations. Reviews employee appeals through complaint procedure.Directs a process of organizational planning that evaluates structure, job design, and people power forecasting throughout the company. Coordinates activities across division lines. Evaluates plans and changes to plans. Makes recommendations to senior leadership.Directs a process of organizational development that primarily addresses succession planning throughout the company. Coordinates activities across division lines. Evaluates plans and changes to plans. Makes recommendations to senior leadership.Establishes wage and salary structure, pay policies, performance appraisal programs, employee benefit programs and services, and company health programs. Monitors for effectiveness and cost containments.Defines all Human Resources programs, and authority/responsibility of Human Resources and line management within those programs. Provides necessary education and materials to line management and employeesworkshops, manuals, employee handbooks, standardized reports.Oversees implementation of programs through Human Resources staff. Monitors administration to standards. Identifies opportunities and resolves discrepancies.Coordinates use of Human Resources consultants, insurance brokers, insurance carriers, pension administrators, labor counsel, and other outside sources.Conducts a continuing study of all Human Resources policies, programs, and practices to keep management informed of new developments.Directs the preparation and maintenance of such reports as are necessary to carry out functions of department. Prepares periodic reports to management, as necessary or requested.Keeps supervisor informed of significant problems that jeopardize the achievement of objectives, and those which are not being addressed adequately at the line management level.Assumes other duties as assigned by supervisor.Qualifications:

Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in human resources, or a related field, preference to a masters degree in a related field.
