If you're coming to us midcareer you will find terrific opportunities for growth.**Description:*** Assist the Store Manager in leading all store sales activities, in achieving sales and profit objectives and in developing the store team.* Assist management in ordering and inventory item management, managing store operations, sales reporting and reporting on various programs and initiatives within the stores.**Duties** :*Store Management** Perform all duties of Sales Associates* Perform the duties of the Store Manager in their absence* Assist the Store Manager in leading all sales activities to achieve objectives of the store's business plan* Assist the Store Manager in merchandising to approved plan-o-grams, shelf price labeling, implement product changeovers* Assist the Store Manager in managing inventory* Assist the Store Manager in managing deliveries* Prepare store for daily opening and closing; stock inventory; perform general housekeeping duties*Operations Management** Assist in managing item inventories across multiple stores* Prepare consolidated reports for management on store sales activities and performance* Prepare consolidated reports on store operations**Qualifications** :* Minimum H.S. diploma/equivalent and at least one year of retail experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience* Proficiency in Microsoft Office software* Strong oral and written communication skills.* Ability to effectively manage difficult retail situations in a controlled and courteous manner.* Ability to handle multiple projects/tasks and meet deadlines* Must be able to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business including peak seasons and special events.
