If you are a friendly, motivated person, with a passion to serve others, the Omni Houston Hotel may be your perfect match.Job Description:The Complex Business Travel Sales Manager is responsible for driving revenue and occupancy through the development and execution of strategic sales plans for the Transient market segment (ESP, Leisure, Consortia, Government) for the Omni Houston Hotel and Omni La Mansion del Rio/Mokara Hotel & Spa in San Antonio. This role requires a strong focus on achieving monthly room night goals, building, and maintaining client relationships, and collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record in sales, a deep understanding of the business travel industry, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.Responsibilities:Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve or exceed room night and revenue goals for the Transient market segments across the Omni Houston Hotel and Omni La Mansion del Rio/Mokara Hotel & Spa in San Antonio.Identify, qualify, and cultivate new business opportunities within target accounts, while maintaining and expanding existing relationships.Conduct regular sales calls, presentations, and site inspections to generate demand and secure bookings.Collaborate with hotel operations to ensure seamless guest experiences and exceed customer expectations.Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and adjust sales strategies accordingly.Develop and maintain accurate sales forecasts, reports, and performance metrics.Represent the hotel at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions.Provide leadership and mentorship to the sales team, as applicable.Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or a related field preferred.Minimum of three years of successful sales experience in the hospitality industry, with a proven track record of achieving sales goals.Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.Strong organizational and time management abilities.Proficient in sales and CRM software.Willingness to travel extensively, approximately 50% of the time.In-depth knowledge of the business travel industry and corporate account management.Experience with yield management and revenue optimization strategies.Ability to analyze data and generate actionable insights.Strong negotiation and closing skills.Passion for delivering exceptional customer service.Reporting RelationshipThe Complex Business Travel Sales Manager will report directly to the Director of Sales & Marketing for the Omni Houston Hotel and Omni La Mansion del Rio/Mokara Hotel & Spa in San Antonio.By combining a strong sales focus with a deep understanding of the business travel market, the Complex Business Travel Sales Manager will play a critical role in driving revenue growth and market share for the hotels.Omni Hotels & Resorts is an equal opportunity/AA/Disability/Veteran employer.
