Overview:

This job is a full time hourly position consisting of five 9-hour shifts per week. Essential availability includes first second, and/or third shifts. weekends, holidays, and occasional double-shifts.The Assistant Managers role is to ensure the smooth operation of a store in the absence of the Store Manager. By leading, developing and training Team Members, the Assistant Manager is key in setting the pace to deliver Total Customer Dedication to each customer. Priority is to ensure a great customer experience, this will be achieved through maintaining store standards, ensuring safety and all operating procedures are adhered to, and by creating a positive store culture for both Team Members and customers.Responsibilities:Provide exceptional customer serviceDelegate and oversee completion of all work on assigned shiftTrain new Team Members in essential Store FunctionsWork with vendors in accordance with company policy and proceduresMaintain and oversee compliance of all loss prevention/cash control proceduresWork with Store Manager and department managers in achieving sales and profitability goalsAttend QuickChek University training classes as assigned at Corporate Support Center and/or Training SiteQualifications:
