Tax Associate
to join our
Tax
team in Atlanta. This is an exciting opportunity to work for one of the most respected public accounting firms in the country. Our industry niches include manufacturing/distribution, real estate, construction, technology, transportation, private equity, financial services, staffing and professional service firms.
Tax Associates are responsible for (but not limited to):
Preparation of federal, state, and local income tax returns and information filingsEnsuring all federal and state income tax returns are prepared timely, accurately, and in compliance with applicable lawsCommunicating effectively with clients and meeting critical deadlinesParticipating actively in client meetings and tax planning effortsRequirements
The successful candidate will have the following experience and attributes:
1 - 2 years' experience preparing corporate, partnership, individual, and fiduciary income tax returns in a public accounting firmBachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent required, with a master's degree in taxation preferredCurrent CPA license or track to passing the CPA exam highly preferredProficient with Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office Suite productsProficiency with CCH ProSystem fx Tax or other tax automation / workflow software preferredClient service orientedTeam playerCreative problem-solving skillsIndependentExceptional written and verbal communication skillsWhat We Can Offer You
