Position Overview:The Supervising Senior Tax Analyst will utilize their advanced skills to review complex corporate federal and state tax returns, audit quarterly estimated tax payments and extensions prepared by staff, assist managers in monitoring workflow and deadlines, and serve as a leader and mentor to junior staff.

Prepare federal, state & local income tax returns, federal and state tax estimates, extensions and forecastingUtilize advanced corporate tax knowledge and understanding to support the tax compliance and tax provision processReview and prepare complex corporate federal and state tax returnsAudit quarterly estimated tax payments and extensions prepared by staffDemonstrate understanding of tax return filing requirements for foreign operationsConduct federal and state tax research and draft/review memorandums to support tax return filing positions and special projects to minimize tax expenseDemonstrate understanding of ASC 740 and ability to prepare income tax accrual calculationsOversee, and act as the "point person" on multiple client engagementsRemain current on developments and changes in tax law and accounting proceduresBuild and manage client relationshipsAssist Managers in monitoring workflow and deadlinesMentor and lead junior staff

Qualifications Sought:

Bachelor's degree in accounting or related fieldCPA, MST, or Advanced Degree a plus4+ years of progressive corporate income tax preparation and experience working in either a corporate tax department or professional services environmentKnowledge of corporate tax preparation within a corporate tax department or professional services environmentWorking knowledge of online tax research tools (CCH, RIA, BNA)Demonstrate leadership and the ability to effectively problem-solveExcellent advisory and compliance skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to articulate complex informationStrong analytical skills and attention to detail
