Hangout Hospitality has an opening for an Event Coordinator. For this position, candidates will need to have a high school diploma and at least one year of event planning and event management experience. This opportunity will be located in Gulf Shores, AL and it is not a remote position.

Escalation of items you are unable to answer.

Ability to create/ update a FAQ for reference.

Ability to match tone and content to established brands

Multitasking

Ability to strategically plan and execute events

Ability to communicate

Ability to stand for extended periods of time and the ability to lift 20-30lbs

Ability to take photos and videos

Ability to receive constructive criticism

Duties:

Interact with management team, to create, coordinate, advertise and promote events

Document the events and their attendees in photographs, short form video and audio clips

Use proprietary software to create customer facing communications.

Perform follow ups on service quality

Provide amazing customer service

Update Project management software with notes

Work alongside our Inhouse art and design team for planning themes and decorations

Outline Press releases, work with PR staff for distribution

What success in this role looks like:

Execution of successful events

Personal satisfaction with the quality of work performed

Ability to receive assistance from other teams and management

Communication with the team to provide a better guest experience

Creation of digital albums outlining your success

Role answers to the Director of Marketing
