Job Title: Weld Inspector
Location: Chester, PA
Rate: $18-24/hr
Shift: 1st
Responsibilities: - Perform welding operations according to specifications and blueprints- Fabricate and assemble metal structures and equipment- Conduct quality inspections to ensure welds meet standards and specifications- Use precision measuring instruments to verify dimensions and alignment- Collaborate with team members to coordinate workflow and ensure timely completion of projects- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area
Qualifications:- Proven experience as a Welder or similar role- Proficient in various welding techniques, including MIG, TIG, and ARC welding- Knowledge of quality control procedures and standards- Familiarity with precision measuring instruments and tools- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision- Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
Skills:
-AWS B5.2 certification required
-Familiar with AS9100 standards - HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point)- QA/QC (Quality Assurance/Quality Control)- Quality control procedures and techniques- Fabrication skills- Quality audits- Coordinate measuring machine (CMM) operation- Knowledge of quality systems (ISO 9001, AS9100, etc.)- CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practice)- Precision measuring instruments- Quality inspection techniques
