The opportunity:
ReMatter is a fast-growing start-up creating the modern operating system for the industrial scrap recycling industry ($120bn and growing!). Our customers represent the largest industrial recyclers around the world tasked with repurposing industrial and consumer scrap into new materials.
We are seeking ambitious and competitive Account Executives to help grow our business and sell into metal recyclers of all sizes. This role will be based on our Sales team and report to the Senior Vice President of Revenue.
This is a remote role, although we have an office in Santa Monica for those in the LA area. There will be some travel involved to visit prospects and customers.

As an Account Executive (AE), you will: Learn about the scrap metal recycling industrial and how the ReMatter product can positively impact recyclers' business outcomes Become an expert on the ReMatter product Prospect into new accounts and build relationships via digital channels, phone, and in-person events Drive the qualification and discovery process to understand business needs, ensure fit, and build pipeline Run product demos with prospective customers to showcase ReMatter's value Manage the overall sales process and close deals to grow our customer base Develop your skillset as a sales professional including forecasting, account mapping, negotiation, close strategies, and more Be a core part of a team-selling atmosphere and help surface insights to continue improving our process Travel to industry conventions, expos, and customer sites when need. This role requires travel 1-2x/quarter and has the flexibility to offer more We're looking for someone that has:
3+ years of prior success in a closing sales role Strong self-motivation, grit, and a competitive spirit A customer-first mindset and bias towards action Strong written and verbal communication, as well as ability to listen and learn Highly organized and detail-oriented Strong interpersonal skills with a good balance of EQ + IQ Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment Nice to have:
BA/BS Degree Prior experience working with or selling into scrap recyclers or other material recyclers Prior experience in SaaS and/or software selling to non-technical buyers Benefits:
