We support flexible working arrangements wherever possible.Position Summary:As a Quality Technician in secondary packaging at Energizer Global Auto Care division, you will be responsible for development and maintenance of inspection and documentation procedures during the manufacturing processes to ensure that products comply with quality standards and guidelines.Responsibilities:Inspect incoming raw materials and components using defined acceptance criteriaMaintain quality control charts, records of analysis results, certificates of analysis, and other quality data to be able to generate compliance and trend reportsNotify management of any quality issues, coordinate line shutdown if necessary, and quarantine potentially defective product for further inspectionHelp with investigation into causes of failures and develop and document preventative measuresReview paperwork and data analysisRecord, process, and compile data accurately to identify outliers, find trends, summarize results, and recommend next stepsMaintain a high level of visual awareness and set standards for improved quality metricsWork alone with minimal or no supervisionIdentify possible areas of improvement in quality processes or documentationDevelop and audit 5S standards for packaging linesTrain others to use established methods and standard proceduresResponsible for RCCA and feedback to customer complaintsWhat we are looking for:
High School Diploma or GEDProficient with Excel and WordMinimum 1 year experience in a quality assurance positionStrong oral and written communication skills with supervisors and coworkersEffective organization and time management skillsAbility to multi-tasks and work with cross functional teamsAbility to coach others to improve quality standardsMonday-Friday 6am 2:30pm, with flexibility to work overtime/weekends when neededWhat we prefer2+ years packaging operations experienceProficient with SAPPrior knowledge of the automotive aftermarket industryKnowledgeable with Microsoft Office
