Job Description
To perform radiographic examinations on patients referred by physicians in accordance with Radiology protocols. Provide leadership in the absence of a supervisor.
Responsibilities
Roles & Responsibilities:Duties include: (but not limited to) perform radiologic examinations on patients referred by physicians in accordance with radiologic protocols.Must be competent routine diagnostic, operating room, and portables.Must be able to evaluate radiographs for technical acceptability.Must be comfortable working in an Emergency Department setting.Other duties as assigned; complete Patient Satisfaction is our Primary GoalQualifications
Requirements:
Graduate of accredited school of Radiologic TechnologyNY State License and registration certificate in Radiologic TechnologyARRT certification in diagnostic radiology, good standing in ASRTBLS certification1 years minimum experience, including OR procedures and portablesProficiency in Fluoroscopic / portable radiology / OR proceduresKnowledge of McKesson PACs and image cast Radiology Information systems (RIS)Experience in digital & computed radiographyCollective bargaining unit: SEIU 1199-MSB
