*** The candidate needs to have experience in receiving inspection, final inspection, and be in the Aerospace business for at least 2 years, familiar with AS9100 standard.

Job Designation

The Quality Inspector II performs visual and mechanical inspections of electronic and electromechanical assemblies and subassemblies. Works under minimal supervision, identifying simple to moderately difficult issues and oversees the satisfactory resolution of customer requirements.Job Core Responsibilities•Perform visual/mechanical inspections of electronic and electro-mechanical subassemblies and assemblies (in-process, final and shipping), as specified by Inspection Instructions, Workmanship Manual and/or Engineering Documentation, beyond the ability of lower grade inspectors.•Review/audit test data results against Test Procedure, Engineering Documentation and/or Customer requirements and assures compliance.•Prepare and complete all necessary documentation (records) for reporting acceptance/rejection of items inspected and/or tested.•Prepare reports documenting results of special inspections, tests and problems; documenting trends on performance (visual, mechanical and functional).•Identify basic areas of nonconformance to provide data to Quality and Reliability Engineering.•Other responsibilities as assigned•Regular, consistent and punctual attendance is required. May need to work weekends, variable schedule(s) and additional hours as necessaryJob Specifications

Education : A Secondary Certificate/High School Diploma or equivalent combination of relevant education and work experience that will allow successful performance of job expectations.Certifications : Vocational training, apprenticeships or the equivalent experience in related fieldYears Experience: 2 - 3 years or more of relevant experienceSkills/abilities :

May require basic or proficient computer skills to include Microsoft and other various software applications.•Skilled at measuring and using test equipment as prescribed by job assignment•Experience working with engineering drawings, charts, diagrams, and sketches•Proficient computer skills•Please note that the salary range information is only applicable for California. Compensation is based on a variety of factors, candidate experience, qualifications, location as well as market and business considerations. Pay Range: ***/hour- ***/hour
