Steel Accountancy provides a broad spectrum of small business accounting services covering a wide range of industries. Steel is seeking a motivated and experienced Tax Senior/Supervisor to join their team. As a Tax Senior, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing tax compliance and advisory work for a diverse client base. This role involves preparing and reviewing tax returns, researching tax issues, and assisting with tax planning strategies.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and trusts.Assist clients with tax planning and compliance, including estimated tax payments and tax projections.Review financial statements and ensure tax implications are properly reflected.Keep up-to-date with changes in tax legislation and regulations.Mentor and supervise junior staff members, providing guidance and training as needed.Develop and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring exceptional client service at all times.Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA certification preferred.4+ years of experience in public accounting or a related field, with a focus on tax compliance and advisory services.Strong understanding of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Proficiency in tax preparation software and Microsoft Office Suite.Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities effectively.Benefits:
