Assurance Manager - Registered Funds
Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Assurance Manager specializing in Registered Funds to join our dynamic team. This requisition is driven by a strategic business need and backfilling requirements. As an Assurance Manager, you will be instrumental in leading audit engagements for financial industry clients, specifically focusing on mutual funds, exchange-traded funds, closed-end funds, and collective investment trusts.
Responsibilities: Conduct audit engagements for financial industry clients, with a primary focus on mutual funds, exchange-traded funds, closed-end funds, and collective investment trusts. Assume full responsibility for planning, supervising, and successfully completing projects within established timelines. Manage day-to-day client relationships, ensuring high-quality client service and satisfaction. Understand engagement partner expectations, monitor deadlines, and oversee the timely delivery of project deliverables. Effectively balance and manage multiple projects under restrictive time constraints. Develop a comprehensive understanding of the client's business and industry, routinely seeking information regarding their needs and concerns. Recognize opportunities to provide additional services and showcase innovation in serving existing clients. Qualifications:
Preferably 4-6 years of progressive audit experience in public accounting, with a focus on investment-based clients (Mutual Funds, Hedge Funds, Fund of Funds). CPA license is required. Experience working with investment-based clients is highly preferred. *Please note that this potential opportunity is not available for residents of California or New York.
We offer a competitive salary range estimated between $80,000 and $150,000*, depending on experience and qualifications.
