Massachusetts - Program Manager for Behavioral Health Division

They are building a new behavioral health division and are currently seeking a Program Manager, Behavioral Health /Integrated Care to help lead the effort. Working in collaboration with the Clinician, Director of Clinical Behavioral Health, the Program Manager will initially assist with designing, developing and implementing program services and staffing the program accordingly. Responsibilities will then include providing clinical supervision to a team of high performing licensed social workers and behavioral health professionals as well as oversight and management of Behavioral Health services.

Established in 1980, they are a multi-site, mission-driven, non-profit organization employing over 700 staff whose primary focus is providing the highest quality patient care to a culturally diverse population throughout the Merrimack Valley. Nationally recognized as a leader in community medicine (family practice, pediatrics, internal medicine, and geriatrics), they have clinical sites in Lawrence, Methuen, and Haverhill and is the sponsoring organization for the Lawrence Family Medicine Residency program.

Job Responsibilities and Performance Standards:• Works collaboratively with Operations Leadership and Behavioral Health Clinical Leadership to design, coordinate and implement a culturally appropriate clinical model for integration of Behavioral Health services into primary care at the Health Center.• Provide day to day oversight and supervision to a team of social workers and clinical therapist across multiple sites.• Prepares and submits reports as requested and required.• Coordinates, enhances, and/or facilitates multi-disciplinary team meetings with a keen eye on optimizing the Behavioral Health Services for the community.• In collaboration with other departments, ensures Behavioral Health operations are carried out in compliance with local, state, and federal regulatory bodies.• Integrates department/workgroup improvement initiatives with system-wide projects and strategic aims.• Travel between sites will be requiredQualificationsExperience• A valid clinical social work licensure or certification in the state of Massachusetts.• At least 3 years of direct clinical experience.• Completed formal training in social work supervision.• Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills.• Excellent verbal and written skills.• Outstanding interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and support a high performing team of professionals.• Ability to develop a trusting and supportive relationship with their employees.• Proven crisis intervention skills with the ability to remain calm and handle high levels of stress in crisis situations.• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and achieve results in a fast paced work environment.

Education• Masters or doctoral degree in social work from a school accredited by the Council on Social Work.
