The Matian Firm is looking for a
BDC Representative
for Legal Sales. In this role one is responsible for handling inbound clientele service requests, such as appointment setting, case vetting, and general questions. The
BDC Representative
for Legal Sales is also responsible for screening potential client calls in order to determine if The Matian Firm can represent a prospect's case and assisting our legal team with initiating new client cases. We help represent the Spanish speaking population, thus fluent bilingualism in Spanish is
required .
Responsibilities include:
Handling inbound phone calls, setting appointments, and screening prospective clients before scheduling an attorney-client consultationTrack and monitor potential new client inquiries and leads (email, internal, and phone referrals)Assists with answering customer inquiries and problems by routing customer to the proper contact and/or departmentAccurately log client information in our software database systemAssist attorneys with administrative tasks related to opening new cases and maintaining databasesWrite emails, transcribe notes, research legal documents, fax, copy, and create spreadsheets.Carry out prospective client interviews/interactions with genuine empathy and compassionStrict business dress code and punctuality standardsThose with BDC sales, metric based, and/or KPI based work experience are strongly encouraged to apply.
Qualifications:Must be bilingual (English/Spanish) with written and verbal proficiencyAt least 2 years of experience doing intake, preferably in the legal field preferred but not required.Case Management software experience is a major plusGreat interpersonal skills, extending patience when working with individuals and proactivity when issues arise.Ability to maintain several responsibilities at once and time-management skills, prioritizing high and low level demands adequatelyExcellent customer service attitude in fast-paced environmentsALL SALES EXPERIENCE (EVEN WITH NO LEGAL EXPERIENCE) ENCOURAGED TO APPLY .
