As a Leasing Professional you will play a key role in leasing residential properties while leveraging your sales skills to meet and exceed leasing goals. Your primary objective will be to effectively market available units, convert leads into leases, and provide exceptional customer service to prospective tenants.
Key Responsibilities:
Conducting property tours for prospective tenants, highlighting key features and benefits to meet their needs.
Utilizing sales techniques to effectively communicate the value proposition of the property and overcome objections.
Responding promptly to inquiries via phone, email, or in-person visits, and nurturing leads throughout the leasing process.
Qualifying prospective tenants by understanding their preferences, financial capabilities, and urgency to move.
Utilizing CRM software or leasing platforms to track and manage leads, follow-ups, and lease negotiations.
Negotiating lease terms and rental agreements in accordance with company policies and legal requirements, while maximizing revenue opportunities.
Providing exceptional customer service throughout the leasing process, addressing tenant concerns or questions with professionalism and efficiency.
Collaborating with property management and maintenance teams to ensure units are rent-ready and well-maintained, enhancing the overall leasing experience.
Keeping up to date with market trends, competitor pricing, and local market conditions to adjust leasing strategies accordingly.
Participating in marketing and promotional activities to attract prospective tenants, such as hosting open houses, creating compelling property listings, and leveraging social media platforms.
Assisting with lease renewals, lease terminations, and resident retention efforts to maintain high occupancy rates.
Adhering to fair housing laws and regulations in all interactions with tenants and applicants, always ensuring compliance.
Qualifications:
Proven sales experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in real estate, hospitality, or retail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with prospective tenants.
Excellent negotiation skills and ability to close deals effectively.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
Knowledge of fair housing laws, leasing regulations, and real estate practices.
Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office, and other relevant technology tools.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment, while meeting leasing targets.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Sales experience is required.
