Greenway Automotive in Orlando, FL is seeking a highly motivated, organized, self-starter for the position of Controller offering competitive wages ! The ideal candidate has at least two years of experience in a similar position. Candidates must have a pleasant and helpful personality, strong administrative and organizational skills, good computer skills, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The controller will manage the financial and accounting system for multiple dealerships. This individual's past work history must exhibit the necessary skill set to handle the day to day accounting processes, including payroll, inventory, receivables, accounts payable, billing etc.

Duties and experience should include, but not be limited to:Prepares a complete financial statement monthly according to dealership guidelines and within each manufacturer's format and time frame. Ensures that all manufacturer accounts, including warranty claims, rebates, interest protection and co-op advertising are current and accurate.Take charge of the end of month process.Working knowledge of all accounting positions.Monitor and reconcile bank accounts.Review financial statements, ledgers and scheduled accounts and work with the accounting staff to clear up any discrepancies.Balance fixed asset accounts to tax schedules and the fixed asset register.Prepares sales tax and other state tax returns in a timely and accurate manner.Review bi-weekly and bonus payrolls. Post payroll journals to the general ledger.Ensures compliance with all applicable government finance regulations, including filing and/or maintaining of required forms.Assist with the annual audit (or review).Summarize the sales and expense analysis to detect potential areas and opportunities for improved company profitabilityMaintains and inspects accounting information for compliance with all applicable laws and regulationsContinually strives to improve data integrity and information reporting throughout the dealership.Any other duties as required.Minimum Requirement:

Minimum 2 years automotive controller experience required.Strong CDK experience.Full knowledge of financial statements and all aspects of the automotive accounting department.Advanced MS Office / Office 365 skills (specifically Excel).A bachelor's degree in business administration or accounting is preferred but not required for the highly experienced candidateWe Offer:
