Primary Activities/Duties:Conduct final inspection and in-process inspections on manufactured and finished good products.Ensure all required check sheets are being used and filled out correctly.Perform "first article inspection" on new or changed jobs to ensure that they are being performed in a proper manner and to the requirements of the Article Text and drawings.Prevent non-conforming product from leaving area until corrected.Ensure product shipping meets packaging requirements.Assist warehouse associates with product quality questions/inspections.Provide immediate feedback to operators and supervisors of any defects found.Feedback to include education on blueprint reading and proper use of measuring gages.Provide daily feedback to Quality Engineers on areas of concern and types of defects being found.Provide daily feedback to Quality Manager on daily failure rate.Physical Requirements :
Stand, walk, bend, twist, and reach frequently throughout the work shift.The ability to lift 25 - 50 pounds to waist level and up to 25 pounds above the shoulders.Work at a computer and keyboard occasionally throughout shift.Knowledge & Experience :
Have high school diploma or GED.Advanced blueprint reading and hand-held gages & measuring equipment experience.Must also be computer literate with a working knowledge of Excel and Word.Inspection experience preferred.
