Please visit our website at www.sleepright.comPRIMARY OBJECTIVE OF POSITIONPerform the tasks required for the safe and efficient operation of the Injection Mold MachinesDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES / ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSReview daily work orders and identify priorities and required resources to complete each projectPerform pre-operation inspection to ensure all parts of the injection mold machine are free from debris and obstruction and the equipment is properly calibratedLoad all raw materials into the machine and reload as necessaryStart the injection mold machine and ensure the cooling system is workingObserve all machine functions to ensure normal operationInspect the first run to ensure quality standards are metConserve resources by using equipment and supplies only as specified and needed without wasteClear jammed parts, injectors, barrels as neededClean and lube the machine and molds per the operations manualIdentify and correct malfunctions as needed. Notify maintenance for problems that require greater expertise to resolveAssist others within the facility as neededPreform other duties as assigned by management RequirementsEDUCATIONPREFERRED:High School Diploma or GED equivalentREQUIRED:Basic computer skillsKnowledge of ISO standardsPREFERRED:2 years of injection molding experience**We are NOT interested in working with recruiters or employment agencies at this time. Please do not email about potential candidates.WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS Vision: Use vision to read, write, type, operate office, electronic, and manufacturing equipment, and make fine adjustments. Speaking/Hearing: Give and receive information through speaking and hearing. Motor Coordination: Requires hands to operate equipment. Lift/Carry: Regularly lift, push, and move up to 50lbs. Environment: Office and warehouse environments may be dust, contain sharp edges, include areas that are not well lit, the floor may be uneven or cracked, and the facility may be subject to variations in temperature.
