SUMMARY : Reports to the FMO Program Manager. Primary services include but are not limited to providing labor necessary to accomplishing management operations
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each of the essential duties and responsibilities listed in a satisfactory manner:
Top Secret clearance required
Performs warehouse, area, and equipment maintenanceProperly assess the condition/serviceability of all furniture within the existing warehouse(s) according to regulations and guidelinesPrepares issue and turn-in documentation for all expendable supplies.Performs inventory and storage activities; to include sensitive items, cataloging, property utilization, customer reconciliations, requisitions processing, issue and receipt of supply items, supply parts research and analysis.Updates logistical reports daily.Establishes and maintains automated and manual accounting records, post receipts and turn-ins.Monitors customer services, answers telephones, and provides information as appropriate.Requirements
The requirements identified below are representative of the knowledge, skills and/or abilities required to satisfactorily meet the expectations of this job:
Must be able to operate a Personal Computer (PC) with a functional knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications (primarily Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point and Windows graphical user interface) and Data/web based systems required for task area performing work.Must have a working knowledge of Army rank structure and military unit relationships (e.g., Company, Battalion, Brigade, Division, etc).Understanding of GCSS, DPASS, and FARMust be able to work under stressful conditions and be physically able to demonstrate the required tasks to standard.Must have the appropriate qualifications, certification, and/or license under the requirements for the task area being performed under this contract prior to commencement of work.Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.Monitoring/Assessing performance of yourself, other individuals, or organizations to make improvements or take corrective action.Identifying complex problems and reviewing related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions.Considering the relative costs and benefits of potential actions to choose the most appropriate one.The ability to tell when something is wrong or is likely to go wrong. It does not involve solving the problem, only recognizing there is a problem.The ability to apply general rules to specific problems to produce answers that make sense.The ability to combine pieces of information to form general rules or conclusions (includes finding a relationship among seemingly unrelated events).
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE :
At a minimum, possess a High School Diploma or GED Equivalent. Preferred minimum five years experience in the Military. Must have a working knowledge of Army rank structure and military unit relationships. Be able to work under stressful conditions and be physically able to demonstrate the training/support tasks to standard. Must have at least 3 years training in logistics as it relates to property accountability and logistics and warehouse operations. Formal schooling, certification, and training from an accredited agency preferred. Capable of operating mechanical and manual material handling equipment (MHE).
An equivalent combination of education and experience as identified above.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English. Ability to read, comprehend and explain instructions, letters, memos, emails and correspondence from inside the organization as well as from external sources. Ability to effectively respond, communicate and present information to senior management, contracting officials, clients and other employees in the organization.
REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to organize work, define and solve problems, establish and manage priorities, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions based on facts. Manager participates in prioritization of work and decision-making on allocation of resources. The incumbent must be able to analyze a situation analytically, evaluate the facts/data and formulate a plan of action.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS : Must possess a valid U.S. state driver's license, applicable for the type and class of vehicle being operated.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS :
Must be physically capable of performing assigned tasks. Reasonable accommodation(s) may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties and functions. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to operate MHE, and lift, push, or pull heavy objects. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
