A freight forwarding company is seeking a

Bilingual Japanese/English National Sales Director

to join their team in

Torrance, CA . This person is responsible for aligning the National Sales initiatives and strategies with company corporate goals and objectives. A bachelor’s degree in a business-related field, 10+ years of sales experience (on an Executive, Director, or VP level) within the transportation, logistics, supply chain management industry, ability to travel frequently, and the ability to speak, read, and write Japanese are required. This is a full-time, Remote work, exempt position with excellent benefits and 401k.

Candidates must reside in the following locations to qualify: Chicago, IL, Los Angeles, CA, or Orange County, CABilingual Japanese/English National Sales Director

Duties:-Management and deployment of sales team members and processes-Cultivate and network with current and new customers to provide sales opportunities-Conduct customer calls and visits to develop sales prospects-Administrate and identify new sales opportunities-Development and implementation of action plan to achieve sales goals and objectives-Identify and improve sales processes-Support the growth of existing and new accounts through planned objectives-Provide direction for business development strategies and service offerings in new verticals-Maximize alliance partnerships to provide customer solutions and increase new business-Oversee, mentor, and motivate account executives and agents to maximize sales efficiency and output-Collaborate, align and execute key marketing strategies in conjunction with sales initiatives to achieve business goals-Prepare and provide sales forecasts and reports-Establish and create the National Sales departmental budget in collaboration with Executive management and in conjunction with corporate financial goals and targetsBilingual Japanese/English National Sales Director

Duties Skills:-Must have a bachelor’s degree in a business-related field-Must be able to speak, read, and write Japanese-Must have 10+ years of sales experience (on an Executive, Director, or VP level) within the transportation, logistics, supply chain management industry-Must be able to travel frequently (40-50%)-Established logistics industry network and presence with accomplished business and professional relationships-Experience driving sales and revenue with large, national customers*
