OverviewWork ShiftFirst (Days) (United States of America) Sentara Leigh Hospital is the only hospital in the region with a combination of hospital based and ambulatory procedure labs. Opening in 2024, the new ambulatory procedure center will care for stable outpatient vascular cases in one fixed lab and one minor procedure room. Cardiac, vascular and interventional radiology patients are cared for in the hospital based procedure labs. Sentara Leigh in Norfolk, VA is hiring - Unit Coordinators to support the current and new sites.SHIFT: FULL TIME DAYSPOSITION REQUIRES 18 MONTHS OF RN EXPERIENCE AND A BSN OR OTHER Relevant clinical experience in SIMILAR PROCEDURAL AREASRELOCATION CAN BE PROVIDED! (RCIS, RCES, IR) JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY:THE TEAM COORDINATOR IS RESPONSIBLE AND ACCOUNTABLE FOR THE DAILY OPERATIONS OF ONE OR MORE CLINICAL AREAS. SUPERVISES PROCEDURAL AREA STAFF INCLUDING COORDINATING QUALITY AND CUSTOMER SERVICE ACTIVITIES; ASSISTING IN THE DEVELOPMENT AND MONITORING OF THE DEPARTMENTAL BUDGET; COORDINATING THE PURCHASING AND PAYROLL PROCESSES; SERVING AS A TECHNICAL/CLINICAL RESOURCE TO TEAM MEMBERS; AND PERFORMING WORK ASSIGNMENTS AS NEEDED TO PROVIDE APPROPRIATE COVERAGE AND TO MENTOR/ASSIST STAFF. SERVE AS CHIEF RETENTION OFFICER FOR AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY.
BACHELOR'S DEGREE OR OTHER FORMALPROFESSIONAL/TECHNICALPREPARATION IN A RELEVANT DISCIPLINE FOR THE AREA/PERSONNEL SUPERVISED. BSN REQUIRED FOR THOSE DEPARTMENTS WHERE RN'S ARE SUPERVISED. Serve as chief retention officer for areas of responsibility.
Bachelor's degree or other formal professional/technical preparation in a relevant discipline for the area/personnel supervised. BSN required for those departments where RN's are supervised. All licenses must be maintained in area of specialty.
