Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to lead our Water/Wastewater projects in Tampa, FL. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering, specifically in water and wastewater systems, with a proven track record of successfully managing large-scale infrastructure projects. This role requires exceptional leadership, organizational, and communication skills to ensure project goals are met on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities: Project Planning and Management : Develop and manage project plans, including scope, budget, schedule, and resource allocation. Lead project teams, including engineers, contractors, and subcontractors, to ensure project objectives are met.

Technical Oversight : Provide technical guidance and oversight for water/wastewater projects, including treatment plants, pipelines, and pumping stations. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and standards.

Client and Stakeholder Communication : Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, stakeholders, and regulatory agencies. Prepare and present project status reports, proposals, and technical documents.

Quality Control and Assurance : Implement and oversee quality control and assurance processes to ensure project deliverables meet high standards. Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure adherence to project specifications and safety standards.

Budget and Cost Management : Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring financial targets are met. Monitor project expenditures and implement cost control measures as needed.

Risk Management : Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies. Monitor and address project risks and issues as they arise.

Team Leadership and Development : Mentor and develop junior staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performance team environment. Conduct performance reviews and provide ongoing feedback to team members.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred. Professional Engineer (PE) license required. Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in managing water/wastewater projects. Strong knowledge of water/wastewater treatment processes, pipeline design, and regulatory requirements. Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera). Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines. Experience with financial management, including budgeting and cost control. PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is a plus. Benefits:
