Job Description

As a senior leader within the Hydro division of the Industrious Group, the role entails direct responsibility for planning, developing, organizing, implementing, and evaluating the division's financial strategy. Reporting directly to the Deputy CFO, the position acts as a crucial business partner, contributing to the guidance and value-building in the business.Coordinate the preparation of financial statements, financial reports, special analyses, and operational reports.Provide timely and accurate analysis of budgets and financial reports to assist the President and the leadership team in strategic decision-making. Oversee completion of a timely monthly financial close and clean annual audited financial statement.Strategically develop and implement the financial strategy of the division. This includes long-term financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, risk management, and investment strategies.Collaborate with the President on operational and strategic issues, offering strategic recommendations, financial analysis, projections, cost identification, allocation, ROI analysis, and revenue/expense analysis.Manage the Hydro division's compliance with JSOX requirements, processes and audits.Highly tuned to economic outlooks and market trends to inform strategic financial decisions.Manage the division's compliance with local and federal regulatory matters.Hold key leadership accountability for merger and acquisition financial due diligence, business valuation, and post close financial integration activities driving transformative growth.Develop and manage direct staff, providing for the continued growth and development of all team members.Develop operational metrics to enhance the analysis of the organization's performance.Performs other financial related duties and/or executive level requests as required.Qualifications

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT

MBA and/or CPA preferred, at least 15 years of applicable business experience of which 10 must be in a financial leadership role.Manufacturing and Operations experienceExperience in Energy/Hydro space preferredLeadership with strategic planning and executionA strategic and creative thinker with sound technical skills, analytical ability, good judgement, and operational focus.Ability to navigate through complex financial and operational situations to maximize results.Strong systems, process and best practice experience.High integrity, honesty, and wiliness to do the right thing.Articulate communicatorWell organized and self-directed.Excellent presentation preparation skills and the ability to deliver professionally.Experience delivering to demanding customers.Good leader, team builder, and educator who is trustworthy, willing to share information and serve as a mentor.KEY COMPETENCIES
