Job Description:
PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:Design and implement strategic tax planning initiatives and structure international business operations to enhance tax efficiency and reduce risk, leveraging internal and external resources.Perform tax technical research and draft memoranda documenting conclusions.Support tax aspects of global M&A transactions and other strategic initiatives, including pre-acquisition structuring, due diligence, and post-acquisition integration.Ensure appropriate communication and direction is provided to cross-functional teams and operating company personnel, as appropriate, to fully understand the impact of various tax planning and M&A strategies being implemented.Work closely with Tax team in conducting detailed analyses to identify potential risks and recommend appropriate solutions to ensure the most efficient tax structures are being utilized.Conduct research and analysis in all areas of international tax, including both US international tax (e.g. GILTI, Subpart F, FTC, reorgs, repatriation) and Non-US (e.g., Pillar I and II, OECD pronouncements).Monitor, analyze, and interpret new tax regulations and legislation to assess the impact on Envista.Work proactively and effectively with cross functional teams (e.g., Accounting, Treasury, Legal, and external advisers) on a variety of tax projects, as required.Support Envista's Pillar Two reporting.Special tax projects, as required.Job Requirements:
Bachelor's degree required.10+ years of tax experience with a Big 4 accounting firm, global law firm or multinational corporation. Mix of public accounting/law firm and industry experience preferred.Significant US international tax planning experience along with a strong global business acumen, capable of functioning in a highly decentralized business model.Substantial M&A and tax planning experience in a complex, global enterprise and/or with a major law or accounting firm advising complex global enterprises.Significant experience in all tax aspects of acquisitions and divestitures, including due diligence and post-merger integration.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS :
JD, MBA, or Master of Taxation degree preferred.Possess Strong oral and written communication skills.Excellent organizational and analytical skills.Must have strong managerial courage - ability to make the tough decision and remain resilient.Strong work ethic and ability to drive projects to completion all within a defined timeframe.Highly self-motivated and directed.Ability to work with information that is highly confidential.Collaborative, team-player.A positive, energetic, and happy attitude.
