Paint Line Operator Team Lead

Come join us!The Coatings and Paint Line Operator Team Lead will utilize their leadership skills to give work direction to an assigned team of three. You will set up and maintain the paint lines to ensure a constant flow of production for the automated paint line(s) and a high quality finished product. What you will get to do:Set up machines prior to the start of the shiftDirect the daily work activity of the teamOperate spray application equipment with minimal supervisionUse fork and hand lifts to move materials, tags and poly-wrap finished productComplete daily production recordsPerform visual quality inspection of product and make needed adjustments to machine and/or operatorInspect finished product to ensure quality is being met Keep machines in good working order to avoid unnecessary down time by reporting equipment problems to supervisor or manager. Keep work area clean and organized. Work effectively, respectfully, and responsibly with the temporary workforce.Perform other duties as assigned.What you'll bring to the role:High School diploma or GED requiredMust have knowledge of mixing paint, water, and solvent reduced coatings.Must maintain a reliable record of attendance and punctuality.Be available to work overtime on short notice as necessary to fulfill the requirements of the position.Have basic math/fractional skills for measurements.Ability to read and write in English.Strong attention to detail.On the job training is provided to familiarize with our production, facility, and supportive equipment.
