Administrative Assistant II
As required by our governmental client, this position requires being a US Citizen, lawful resident alien, citizen of American Samoa or other territory owning permanent allegiance to the United States.
Administrative Assistant II is a vital role within an organization, providing comprehensive administrative support to facilitate smooth operations. This position requires exceptional organizational skills, effective communication abilities, and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Compensation & Benefits:Pay commensurate with experience.Full time benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K and other possible benefits as provided.Benefits are subject to change with or without notice.
Administrative Assistant II Responsibilities Include:Prepare and edit technical or general documentation using software such as Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Windows.Transcribe documents and ensure accuracy and clarity in content.Prepare and edit management support documentation and charts, both in hard copy and using software like Microsoft Project.Perform data entry tasks, maintaining accuracy and efficiency.Provide a variety of support services, including visitor access control, answering telephones, and ordering/receiving office supplies and equipment.Prepare travel documentation and coordinate travel arrangements for staff members.Operate reproduction equipment to produce large volumes of documents.Manage courier services, mail services, and receiving requests for forensic investigations.Edit or maintain technical, budget, programmatic, and administrative documentation in both paper and electronic formats.Create and/or edit weekly/monthly reports on case work status.Process Death Certificates.Receive requests for forensic investigations and compile complete packages for requestors.Maintain an electronic library of documents and presentations for use by staff members.Perform data entry into the Armed Forces Medical Examiner Tracking System (AFMETS).Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Administrative Assistant II Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested:Associate degree with a minimum of five years direct experience as an Administrative Assistant, a bachelor's degree in a related field of study or a combination of substantial experience and education in the administrative field is required.May be required to interact with senior level managers such as high-level military and civilian medical, health care and technical personnel.Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal.
