The Forvis Mazars audit team provides services that go beyond the compliance function. This team brings credibility to our client's financial picture, communicates information objectively and clearly, and provides insight to help clients improve their organizations.
How you will contribute:
Assisting with managing, developing, and coaching professional staffReviewing detailed audit engagement proceduresAdequately identifying audit risks and problems through review to ensure audit engagements are completed with defendable files and documentationConsistently identifying engagement and operating opportunities for improvement and providing timely solutions and consultationManaging multiple concurrent engagements without disruption and within scheduled deadlinesProviding staff with timely performance feedbackManaging multiple client relationships, billings, and resource needsBuilding personal referral sources and clientele while actively participating in team marketing opportunitiesLeading audit committee and board meeting presentationsParticipating in speaking and article-writing opportunitiesCompleting required Continued Professional Education hoursTraveling to serve clients as necessaryWe are looking for people who have Forward Vision and:
An aptitude to recruit and develop firm associates and team membersTeam and engagement management skillsInnovative ideas to servicing clienteleWritten and verbal communication skills to effectively relate to people of diverse backgrounds and experience levelsProficiency in Microsoft Office SuiteAn ability to prioritize and work independently in a fast-paced environment to reach clear-set goalsMinimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field7 years of relevant audit experienceCPA LicenseExperience managing multiple complex client engagementsPreferred Qualifications:
Experience with governmental or nonprofit organizationsExperience with higher education entitiesSingle audit experience
