The Sr. Commercial Loan Officer is responsible for performing a variety of duties to assist in the management of the commercial loan portfolio, as well as personal banking needs for certain clients. You will be responsible for the growth and management of account relationships, particularly for the Commercial Lending portfolio.Our Greenville, SC Team delivers a high level of accuracy in task completion, timely responses, and superior service. This is vital to ensure internal and external customer service, compliance with Regulations, and First Reliance Bank policies and procedures.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Identifying and developing new commercial loan relationships.Identifying and developing new deposit relationships.Collecting and analyzing financial and related data to determine general credit worthiness.Structuring loan terms and conditions that meet the client's needs and the Bank's lending guidelines.Managing a commercial loan portfolio for adherence to loan terms and conditions including but not limited to the timely receipt of required financial information, covenant compliance and annual reviews.Monitoring loan repayment activities and taking necessary action to collect from past-due accounts.Maintains a thorough knowledge of the features and benefits of all Bank commercial products and services and promotes Bank products.Identifies and refers cross-selling opportunities to appropriate business partners within the Bank that may meet clients' needs.In conjunction with centralized underwriting and credit risk develops loan proposals to gain new business.Recommend appropriate programs and support services to maximize the customer's consumer and business relationship.Act as a representative of the bank with other business, community, and industry groups..Ensure customer needs discussion is centered on full banking relationship.Serve as primary contact to respond to ongoing service issues quickly and effectively for customers with relationship and loans.Proactively engage in regular follow up process with the customer to maintain presence in relationship, learn of future needs or significant changes, address service concerns, and foster ongoing trusted advisor relationship.Effectively partner with risk & underwriting to adhere to loan policy and comply with all industry related regulatory and legal requirements as outlined by credit administration.Involve and escalate loan request as appropriate for exception.Cooperates with, participates in, and supports the adherence to all internal policies, procedures, and practices in support of risk management and overall safety and soundness and the Bank's compliance with all regulatory requirements e.g., Community Reinvestment Act (CRA), Equal Credit Opportunity Act, etc.Minimum Requirements:College degree preferred or equivalent experience.10 years Banking experience with 5 years lending experience.Strong relationship selling experience to include lending and deposit gathering and basic treasury servicesBusiness loan underwriting capabilityKnowledgeable with business financials analytics, including cash flow analysis, interpreting financial statements and tax returns.Proven written and verbal communication skills.Ability and desire to interact and contribute in a team environment.Ability to use a variety of software tools.
