is looking for a Program Manager - Management/Professional Liability, to join our US Programs team. This is a great opportunity for an experienced management/professional liability underwriter interested in helping build a new portal program for small business. This role is a Hybrid position located in one of the following locations: Chicago, Dallas, or Morristown NJ.

The Program Manager will play a key role in the launch of a new portal program as the lead referral underwriter, reporting direct to the Head of Financial Lines. They will take an active part in a broad spectrum of technical underwriting, pricing, and coverage responsibilities for this new portfolio.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

Underwrite referral risks that agents submit through the portal - D&O, EPL, Fiduciary, Crime and Miscellaneous Professional Liability coverages.Adhere to binding authority guidelines and underwriting authority, evaluate accounts to determine risk acceptability, contractual terms, and pricing.Actively participate in all aspects of effective quality control assessments of the portal. These may include conducting portal audits, monitoring, and assessing key performance indicators.Collaborate as needed with senior management on larger, more complex accounts requiring special expertise.Develop, drive, and continually improve underwriting and pricing strategies to support a profitable and competitive pricing approach to the market in the portal.Monitor business results and pro-actively identify trends in conjunction with product management and other internal resources/teams to develop/drive strategies to improve business results.Develop and distribute effective resources, education materials, and training to portal agents and others to assist them in better understanding the value associated program offerings and service.Remain current on legal and regulatory changes and claim development in order to contribute to portfolio profitability.WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of management & professional liability underwriting experience - with a preference on program/referral underwriting experience.Demonstrates significant contribution to underwriting profit and best practices.Independent decision maker - takes full responsibility for making decisions and consequences associated with decisions.High attention to detail and accuracy.Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with colleagues across multiple departments.Knowledge of the management and professional liability external market.WHAT WE OFFER:
