In conjunction with the Regional Manager, responsible for the development, execution and achievement of the Non Blue Water Hull, Marine Liability and Cargo business. Active involvement and oversight in all aspects of production, underwriting, pricing and management for the portfolio. Review profitability and discuss corrective action plans / requirements with field personnel. Assist field offices with underwriting referrals, establishing target accounts, and actively following up on opportunities in order to obtain submissions. Assist in collection of reinsurance data as needed. Coordinate with Regional Manager to directly handle assigned accounts as needed. Develop new & maintain existing producer contacts through regular producer visits. Frequent client interaction is a critical aspect of this job.
Qualifications Needed:
Bachelor's degree in a related field.10 years' experience in the Marine insurance industry. Comfortable with change and new technologies. Strong analytical skills, especially Excel.Numerous broker relationships/contacts.
