What you will do

Lead global pricing and gross margin management across all products, systems project installation, service, after-market parts, and digital lines of business in B2B and B2C markets across all channels of distribution. Drive YOY margin expansion by deploying segmentation-based pricing and price cost margin management strategies, incorporating all input costs, collaborating with business unit leaders to implement gross margin and price realization strategies, optimizing trade program spend, and managing gross margin performance through proactive price / cost management with Operations teams. Manage a globally diverse team of leaders. Accountable and responsible for overall price cost performance and price realization impact to gross margin. Global Leader for pricing and margin management transformation initiatives for the company. Develop and sustain the overall pricing strategy/ process/ analytics/ reporting to drive market competitiveness and margin expansion for the Enterprise through enhanced pricing and margin management capability. Work with the senior leadership team to design and execute strategic pricing initiatives to position the business for current and future growth and profitability.

How you will do itWork with the business teams to set pricing targets, implement pricing strategies and define procedures necessary to ensure consistency across pricing actions and price decision-making across the Enterprise.Drive strategic pricing capability across all lines of business for the enterpriseDevelop the talent and capability within the team to ensure successful implementation of the pricing excellence roadmap and achieve gross margin targetsOwn the annual price planning process for the business and set price plan targets for all lines of businessEstablish product level, systems, service, and market driven pricing strategies aligned to the strategic growth and margin objectives of the business using market back data and segmentation based strategiesLeverage multiple systems and databases to provide actionable insights through reporting and analytics to create pricing strategy and price guidance modelsProvide thought leadership and regularly conduct analyses/workshops to identify opportunities, solve problems and improve business performance through strategic pricing actions through quarterly pricing reviews and other vehiclesProvide leading and lagging KPIs for pricing initiatives, compile reports/dashboards and distribute to stakeholders across the organizationMonitor and report overall effectiveness of pricing execution, and analyze gaps and transparently communicate price performance against objectivesWork with sales/marketing/operations/life cycle solutions teams to monitor the market trends, competition, quantify the impact to plan and align pricing strategies accordinglyWhat we look for

20+ years of work experience (strong commercial experience is a plus); 15+ years in pricing with experience leading global teams and driving pricing capability transformation initiatives across the globe and across multiple lines of business consistently and simultaneouslyCapability to operate as an influencer and subject matter expert to drive pricing excellence and margin management capabilities across multiple lines of business and geographies simultaneouslyStrong communication skills with ability to influence stakeholders at all levels including senior leadership. Comfortable presenting ideas and strategy at the C-Suite levelAbility to drive teams to take action with data insightsBoth a strategic and tactical thinker able to operate at multiple levels within the organization and be a thought leader for Pricing strategy for the companyExperience with modeling techniques and pricing frameworksAttention to detail, action-oriented and impact drivenExecutive presence and strong commercial acumenBachelor's degree required; MBA preferred
