Job Description
Under the direction of the Safety Director, the position is to serve as a liaison between the Environment of Care programs and Patient Safety and Patient Care Services to facilitate activities in best achieving care delivery and patient experience.
Job Responsibilities:• Develop and implement the action plan and related policies and procedures that facilitate and support all activities related to care delivery and patient experience.• Coordinate multidisciplinary efforts with Environment of Care and enhance communication among all stakeholders in support of patient care services.• Participate in various performance improvement activities and collect data as necessary, identify and evaluate issues or gaps, work with responsible parties to resolve these issues and keep al informed of progress.• Manage, document, and track all related issues or events; conduct data analysis and provide reports requested.• Develop and track performance indicators and repot to the EOC committee at least quarterly.• Be part of the safety initiatives such as WPVPP, SPH program, Needlestick Prevention Taskforce, etc.• Attend various committee meetings related to care delivery and patient experience.• Participate in other departmental activities and carry out other duties as directed.
Minimum Qualifications1. A Baccalaureate Degree from an accredited college or university in Health Administration, Public Administration or approved related program; and,2. Six years of full-time, paid experience of progressively responsible level in hospital administration with particular emphasis on development and evaluation of health care delivery services; or,3. A Master's Degree from an accredited college or university in Hospital or Health Administration, Health Care Planning, Public Health, Administrative Medicine, Business Administration, Public Administration or approved related program; and,4. Five years of full-time, paid experience as indicated in (2); or,5. A satisfactory equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
