Senior Naval Nuclear Ship Maintenance Analyst

Responsibilities:Produce analysis, assessments, and reports of nuclear ship maintenance availability performance, including both planning and executionAction tracking and accomplishment in support of nuclear ship maintenance for planning, execution, and improvement initiatives.Formally develop and staff, routine communications via letters, briefings and other correspondenceSupport and participate in data collection and analysis to assess performance and target improvement opportunities, including the development of new metrics and measures of shipyard and nuclear ship maintenance enterprise performanceCoordinate meetings and communications across the enterprise to drive resolution to issuesCommunicate directly and frequently with shipyard department heads and program managers in support of the above tasksRequirements:
Fifteen plus years of service in a Naval Shipyard including experience on two or more projects at Assistant Project Superintendent level or higher, Assistant Chief Test Engineer level or higher, or other project or shop leadership position (e.g. Project Engineering and Planning Manager), or 10 plus years of service in NAVSEA in the Industrial Operations or In-Service Support Program offices.Bachelor's degree in a technical field desiredUS Citizen with Secret Security ClearanceExpert level knowledge of shipyard processes, including resource planning, project planning, project executionExpert level of knowledge project management fundamentalsExpert written and oral communication skillsExperience preparing and delivering briefs to senior leadershipExperienced with Microsoft office products, including Excel
