ResponsibilitiesBuild a foundational understanding of industry and concepts related to financial planning, investments, insurance and financial markets.Be familiar with the core competencies of financial planning - cash flow and financial independence planning, insurance/risk management, estate planning, tax planning and strategy, and what role they play within a client's long term financial plan.Understand firm's wealth management process.Demonstrate ability to gather appropriate data and client information for plan development.Become an expert with MoneyGuide Pro (MGP) / eMoney financial planning software and be able to quickly and accurately update and revise financial plans based on feedback from advisors and clients.Independently prepare efficient and thorough analysis required to develop a proposed financial plan or investment portfolio.Provide meaningful support in development of analysis for new client proposals.Support ongoing portfolio monitoring and account maintenance and proactively identify action items.Proactively looking for additional planning opportunities for existing clients.Communicate with Central Portfolio Management team when trades when rebalancing or cash needs are required.Provide prompt follow-up to client meetings when applicable, completing action items with direction from advisor.Effectively utilize Salesforce to ensure client information is up-to-date and coordinated among client service team.Demonstrate ability to support advisors by completing Salesforce tasks and processes effectively and efficiently.Act as back-up to the Wealth Advisor on clients, assisting with client requests that fall outside of regular reviews.Understand and effectively utilize internal and external resources.Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.Candidate for CFP® certification or other financial services industry credential is preferred.Series 65 license is preferred, or taken within 90 days of hire.Minimum of 1 years' experience.Experience with MGP, eMoney, Holistiplan, Salesforce a plus.Customer service background preferred.Excellent verbal, written, analytical, and organizational skills.Ability to identify, meet and follow through with client needs and request.Must be a goal-oriented team player with a 'no job is beneath me' attitude.Community service driven and charitably minded.Able to work independently.Enjoy being part of a team.Above average knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.Must be highly flexible and confidential with all client and firm matters.Physical Requirements
This position requires the physical capabilities to work in an office environment, which may include prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
