The?Assistant Chief Financial Officer (ACFO)?is a critical financial leadership pipeline role that serves as a direct tributary into the hospital Chief Financial Officer (CFO) role. This position manages the Financial Accounting and Reporting Department to ensure that it is providing effective and efficient service.?What you will do in this role:You will demonstrate understanding of application of healthcare finance to impact clinical and financial resultsYou will execute HCA Healthcares capital asset management processYou will demonstrate knowledge of HIM and Case Management/Care Coordination functionsYou will establish expertise in productivity, staffing and schedulingYou will demonstrate competence in hospital accounting, internal control environment and compliance requirementsYou will establish executive presence (temperament, competencies and skills across situations)What qualifications you will need:Bachelors in Finance, Accounting, or other related area requiredMasters degree in related field preferredMinimum of three years in finance/accounting or public accounting/audit experienceExperience as a hospital Controller preferredPrevious supervisory experience preferredCPA preferredMemorial Health University Medical Center
