Job Responsibilities
Under general supervision, performs skilled duties in the installation, maintenance and repair of all types of heat pumps, air conditioners, refrigerators, ice machines, freezers and water coolers. Operates, programs, and provides diagnosis for Metasys building management systems and Tek-Air controls.Minimum and Additional Requirements
A high school diploma and at least five years of trade experience directly related to the area of employment. EPA-approved freon recovery certification is required. Must have strong skills in providing excellent customer service and demonstrate strong ethics. A valid driver's license and safe driving history are required.Additional Comments
Must have thorough knowledge of methods, techniques and procedures relating to HVAC and a high level of skill in the actual application and use of that knowledge. Must have knowledge of the tools, equipment, materials and supplies used in the HVAC trade. Must have the ability to work off ladders and scaffolds, crawl under buildings, work above ceilings and lift up to 50 pounds
