About the team:Creative Lab is TikTok's in-house creative consultancy for brands and creative companies. We work collaboratively with key accounts, creative agencies, and in-house creative teams to inspire creativity and advance TikTok-first thinking.
Responsibilities:- Lead creative consultation with key clients. You partner with Sales and other cross functional teams to educate and inspire key brands and agency partners on TikTok's creative possibilities. You do this in many ways: real-time consultation on creative strategies, collaborative workshops, best practices, trends presentations, and more.- Inspire the industry. You work with brands and agencies to develop best-in-class creative on TikTok. You translate TikTok community trends and behaviors, product and platform updates, and industry shifts into larger creative opportunities.- Strengthen and amplify vertical thought leadership. You contribute to vertical specific POVs for how brands show up on TikTok to drive toward deeper partnership. You work to develop and spotlight case study worthy work to inspire the industry at large.- Manage your own projects in a fast-growing startup. We don't believe in project managers and layers of bureaucracy. You multi-task and prioritize your own projects based on internal business objectives, manage your own deadlines, and maintain a positive, collaborative relationship with XFN partners.- Champion our branded solutions. Understand ad product benefits, capabilities, and features that translate to creative recommendations and best practices for clients.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:- Able to work out of our office in New York, NY- 5+ years in a creative or creative strategy role- Experience within a top tier creative agency, brand creative group or a creative role within a technology company- Strong grasp on culture, with a keen understanding of what is relevant and an eye for upcoming trends- Excellent written and verbal communicator, with the ability to solve for complex business problems through compelling creative strategies, breakthrough creative ideas, and engaging presentations- A portfolio that showcases previous creative/strategic work.- Able to travel domestically, approx. 1-2x/month.
Preferred Qualifications:- Retail Industry Experience- Experience developing creative/strategic work for TikTok- Deep interest and understanding of the social/digital space, as well as the creator economy.- Passion for TikTok, the power of the platform, its communities, and the creative possibilities it can unlock
